A yarn extrusion line is a set of industrial machinery used to produce synthetic yarns (like polypropylene, polyester, or nylon) through the process of melt extrusion and spinning. A used yarn extrusion line refers to pre-owned or second-hand equipment that has been previously used but is still operational, often available at a significantly lower cost than new machinery.
Extruder – Melts and pushes the polymer through a die.
Spinning Head/Die – Shapes the melted polymer into filaments or fibers.
Cooling System – Solidifies the yarn using air or water quenching.
Godet Rollers – Stretch and orient the yarn for improved strength.
Winder or Take-up System – Winds the yarn into spools or packages.
Control Panel – Manages temperature, speed, tension, and other parameters.
Monofilament Extrusion Line – For single-strand yarns, often used in ropes or brushes.
Multifilament Extrusion Line – Produces multiple fine filaments, ideal for weaving fabrics or producing FIBC bag yarns.
BCF (Bulked Continuous Filament) Line – For carpets and upholstery.
Tape Line (Flat Yarn) – Used for woven sacks, FIBCs, and geo-textiles.
Cost-effective: Typically 40–70% cheaper than new equipment
Faster delivery: No long manufacturing lead times
Tested performance: Proven track record in production
Upgrade potential: Can be refurbished with newer controls or components
